It’s been just two days since the Google Plus era begun but hundreds of thousands of people from all across the world have started terming google plus to be “The facebook killer”. Already people want to add stuffs to google plus much like facebook. Google has now asked interested developers who want to be informed about the Google plus API to sign up to a mailing list. We’re not sure when and how Google plus API will be available.
It is a well known fact that the Beta release of the Google Plus is a massive hit with the company having to restrict access because of the massive number of sign ons. This in itself is a proof of it’s success. Google plus is still in it’s early days and it’s pretty difficult for us to tell if it’s really what the google team claims it to be:- “The Facebook Killer”. Google Circles- the unique model used by google plus to group people together is a stand out feature and it allows people to group friends more effectively and share materials with appropriate group of people. This feature best fits businesses as they’ll be able to offer coupons and codes to a particular group of people instead of publicly sharing it to everyone.
Its the sophisticated nature of google plus that makes each and every tech savvy love it. It has opened up the gates of a new developmental ecosystem altogether. As for an average user, it will take some time for them to get used to it. But I can already see a lot of people jumping out of facebook to google plus. Only time can tell how long they will stay there.
